SoNo Collection Developers Reportedly Owe Hefty Payment To Norwalk

The upscale mall is slated to be built on land on West Avenue near I-95 in Norwalk.

NORWALK, CT — General Growth Properties, developers of the planned upscale SoNo Collection mall, are late on payments they owe Norwalk totaling $1.6 million, reports The Hour.

GGP owes the money for construction easements and transportation costs, and the developer is also reportedly looking to make changes to the approved project.

The 1 million-square-foot project has been delayed by at least a year, but city officials say Chicago-based GGP is committed to making the payments and moving forward.
