SoNo Collection Opening Date Could Be Delayed: Report

The under-construction South Norwalk-based mall is filling up with stores and restaurants.

NORWALK, CT — The opening of the SoNo Collection could be pushed back to mid- to late-November, instead of October as originally planned, as construction on the new mall continues, writes The Hour.

While progress on the exterior of the mall is visible from I-95 and West Avenue, the interior still needs extensive work, according to the publication. The potential delay came to light last week with the announcement that Pinstripes, a dining and bowling establishment, is slated to open at the mall in November.

The delay could push the opening back to close to Black Friday, traditionally the busiest shopping day of the year.
