Suspect - Allegedly High on Crystal Meth - ID'd in Metro-North Knife Incident

The Stamford resident frightened passengers and cut himself on the train Friday before an off-duty police officer disarmed him.

NORWALK, CT - Stamford resident William Willis, 34, has been identified as the knife-wielding man who allegedly threatened Metro-North train passengers and began cutting him while he was high on Crystal Meth on June 3.

The Stamford Advocate reports that Willis ingested the drug methamphetamine and then began acting irrationally on the train, which was eventually stopped at the Rowayton station where he was escorted off.

No passengers were injured, in part due to the actions of off-duty Prospect, CT Police Off. Anthony Ciprano, who disarmed Willis before he could harm passengers, or do any further harm to himself.
