Suspect Apprehended in Connection with Armed Pawn Shop Robbery in Norwalk

The suspect was caught by United States Marshals in North Carolina, according to Norwalk police.

NORWALK, CT — One of two suspects allegedly involved in the Sept. 9 armed robbery of a Norwalk pawn shop has been apprehended in North Carolina, according to Norwalk police.

This morning, September 29, the U.S. Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force in North Carolina arrested Donald Outlaw, 28, of Hartford, in High Point, NC.

The Norwalk Police Department held an active arrest warrant for Outlaw in connection with the robbery, which occurred at the Gold Rush Pawn Shop, located at 495 Connecticut Ave. Norwalk Police Det. Dominick Cisero was able to establish that Outlaw and a conspirator had committed the armed robbery.

The second suspect remains at-large, but this week police released enhanced surveillance photos from the incident and asked for the public's help in identifying him.

The warrant has a court set bond of $250,000.
