The public-private partnership looks to advance awareness, provide training and use-case exercises. Although the bill is in primitive form, Rep. Simmons and Feldman are collaborating with other State Representatives providing thought-leadership that creates a best-in-class program that can address such attacks.

Rep. Simmons said “The increasing number of cyber-attacks and sophistication of such attacks demonstrate the need for better cyber defenses. Raising awareness and providing information to businesses and the public on how to defend against cyber-attacks and hacking incidents is critical to our economic security.”
