On Saturday, fire officials said on social media that rescue operations were hindered because of massive amounts of trash in the home, due to hoarding. Some of the trash nearly reached the ceiling and slowed rescue efforts, according to reports. Firefighters had to crawl on top of the debris to reach the victim, reports stated.
