Woman Charged In Fight After Knocking Over, Throwing Plants In Norwalk: Police

Police said tow people were charged in a fight on Fourth of July in Norwalk, wherein one of the suspects allegedly possessed a handgun.

NORWALK, CT - Police said two people were charged with breach of peace following a fight Tuesday, the Norwalk Hour reported. The incident occurred shortly before 8 p.m. at a Glendenning Street residence, police said.

Police said the suspect, 27-year old Kimberly Roland, began knocking over and throwing plants after telling a juvenile not to knock them over while playing basketball, according to the Norwalk Hour. Police said a second suspect, 30-year old Shane Barrese, charged toward the two while allegedly having a handgun in his waistband, the Norwalk Hour reported. Police said the suspect secured the weapon in his car and has a valid pistol permit.
