Woman Fugitive Found and Charged with November 2013 Stabbing
The 42-year-old former Norwalk resident was found in North Carolina, extradited to Connecticut and scheduled to appear Monday in court.

Monique Hodge, wanted for a Nov. 11, 2013 stabbing in Norwalk, was brought back to Connecticut and was to appear in court on Monday, Norwalk police announced.

The Norwalk Department of Police Service, with the assistance of the United States Marshals Service Violent Fugitive Task Force have arrested fugitive Monique Hodge, a 42-year-old former Norwalk resident for first-degree assault .

Hodge was wanted on an active warrant for a stabbing that occurred in the city on November 11, 2013. The victim of the case sustained serious injuries as a result of the assault.
The Norwalk Police Department Detective Bureau investigated the incident and subsequently obtained a warrant for Hodge’s arrest in July 2014.

The United States Marshals Service was then able to locate and arrest her in Charlotte, North Carolina. Hodge was extradited back to Connecticut by Norwalk Detectives on August 26, 2014and was due in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Monday morning.
