Is Your Connecticut Home Crumbling? Help Is on the Way
State Attorney General George Jepsen has negotiated a deal with several insurers.

If you live in Connecticut and your home's foundation is crumbling, you may be in line for assistance under deal struck by Attorney General George Jepsen and several insurance companies.

Earlier this month, The New York Times reported on the problem, which has impacted nearly two dozen communities in Connecticut.

More than 200 homeowners have filed complaints with the state over crumbling foundations, primarily in Hartford, Tolland and Windham counties.
