7-Year-Old Girl Killed In Norwich House Fire: Reports
She was pronounced dead at a local hospital after being found trapped on the home's second floor, according to reports.
NORWICH, CT — The Norwich community is coping with the devastating loss of a 7-year-old girl who was killed in a house fire on Tuesday.
According to WFSB Channel 3, the fire happened on Summit Street, with calls reporting the blaze flooding the local 911 dispatcher's office at about 5:25 p.m. Tuesday.
WVIT Channel 30 reported that when firefighters entered the home, they found the girl on the second floor.

After being rushed to The William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich, the girl — who has yet to be identified — was pronounced dead, WVIT reported.
City fire authorities are still investigating the fire.
