Armed and Dangerous Norwich Twin Brothers Wanted for Bank Robbery in Custody: State Police

The two were reported by state police to be in custody and awaiting extradition from New York.

Connecticut State Police announced Tuesday that a pair of wanted "armed and dangerous" twin brothers are now in custody.

Vance Coffin and Vince Rollins, both 50, of Norwich were reported by state police to be in custody and awaiting extradition from New York. Police also thanked all law enforcement agencies and the public who helped out with the case.

Authorities had warned the public of their attempts to locate the two, who were wanted for their suspected involvement in a Canterbury bank robbery on Sept. 23. They were believed at the time to still be in the southeastern region of Connecticut.

State police also warned citizens to alert police immediately and not to confront the men, as they were considered armed and dangerous.
