Narcan Used in Suspected Norwich Heroin Overdose

The incident required response by police, firefighters and ambulance crews.

NORWICH, CT- Emergency Crews responded close to 1:30 a.m. Thursday to a suspected heroin overdose incident at East Main Street, according to the Norwich Bulletin.

Police, firefighters and ambulance crews responded to reports of an unresponsive person probably caused by heroin overdose, the Norwich Bulletin reported. The crews were forced to administer Narcan.

The victim eventually became responsive, with his blood pulse, pressure and skin tone returning to normal, according to the Norwich Bulletin. They were then transported to the hospital.
