Norwich Police Secure Arrest Warrant for Suspected Bank Robber

Norwich police said they have secured an arrest warrant for a man suspected of robbing a bank last year.

NORWICH, CT - Norwich Police have secured an arrest warrant for the suspect in a bank robbery last year, NBC Connecticut reported.

Police have identified Stephen J. Silva, 45, of Springfield, Massachusetts, as the man who allegedly robbed the Eastern Savings Bank on October 17, according to NBC Connecticut. The bank is located at 257 Main Street.

The suspect was arrested in December by Vermont State Police for a bank robbery in Hartland, according to NBC Connecticut. Norwich police intend to serve it to the suspect at a later date.
