Veterans Organization Helps Norwich Restaurant Damaged In Fire

Easterseals is lending assistance to Uncle D's Blazin' Barbeque following a fire at the restaurant.

NORWICH, CT — A veterans organization is helping a local restaurant following major damage from a fire. Easterseals Veterans is allowing Uncle D's Blazin' BBQ to use its commercial-grade kitchen to prepare food so that the restaurant can continue with catering jobs.

Uncle D’s Blazin' BBQ also owns a food truck so with the use of a kitchen they are now able to prepare and serve meals daily to keep their business going while the restaurant is repaired.

“This is a perfect of example of how VRP is here to help our Military community in any way we can,” Ron Welch, VP of Military Services at Easterseals Capital Region & Eastern CT, said in a statement.
