2 Teens Arrested, Drugs and Cash Seized: Orange Police

Police said they received reports of increased drug activity in the area.

ORANGE, CT — Two 19-year-olds have been arrested and are charged with possessing drugs with intent to sell, Orange police said. Police also said seized drugs and cash.

On Sept. 4, the Orange Police Department investigated a complaint of increased drug activity on Manley Heights, police said.

The investigation led to the arrest of Justin Mbelu, 19, of Orange and Alexander Silva, 19, of Orange. Both suspects were charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Drugs near a Prohibited Place, and Possession with Intent to Sell. They were both held on a $25,000 bond.

"Seized in the investigation were a small amount of marijuana, THC wax, 83 THC oil cartridges, and U.S. currency," Orange Police said.
