Leo R. Alaimo
He started his career as a hairdresser and later owned and operated his general contracting business, Hire A Husband.
Leo R. Alaimo, age 89, of Orange and formerly of Milford, entered into peaceful rest on September 21, 2026, with his family by his side.
Leo was born on November 23, 1936, in Bridgeport to the late Aurelio and Elin (Eliason) Alaimo. Leo proudly served with the National Guard. He started his career as a hairdresser and later owned and operated his general contracting business, Hire A Husband.
Leo is survived by his partner of 19 years and the love of his life, Nora Roth of Orange; his two devoted children, Andrew Alaimo (Charlene) of Wall Township, New Jersey, and Daniele Alaimo (Thomas Johnson) of Duluth, Georgia; and three grandchildren, Allison, Michael, and Marcus Alaimo. He also leaves behind his sister, Karen Desbiens (Bert) of Milford, and many cherished extended family members.
