• Major Retailer's Former Home Gets New Tenant In Orange (patch.com) — Pet owners in Orange will soon have 24/7 emergency veterinary care right on Boston Post Road, as VEG for Pets moves into the former Metro Mattress building at 507 Boston Post Road. The new 5,250-square-foot facility aims to complement existing local vets by handling urgent cases for all kinds of animals, from traditional pets to birds and reptiles, under a long-term lease arranged by Pearce Real Estate.    

• 6th Annual Orange Artisan Fest & Expo Set for June 18 (orangetownnews.com) — Mark your calendar for the free Orange Artisan Fest & Business Expo on Thursday, June 18, at the Orange Fairgrounds, featuring more than 50 vendors, food trucks, and live performances. Families can enjoy kids’ activities, music from local students, a foam party, and the season’s first Town Concert Night. Organizers encourage residents and local businesses to come shop, network, and celebrate summer.    

• Orange's first selectman says he can still save his home from foreclosure (ctpost.com) — Orange First Selectman Jim Zeoli says he plans to pay off the debt on his Old Tavern Road home before a June 13 foreclosure auction, after a judge ordered a sale. Court records detail his current and past foreclosure cases involving Orange properties, while noting he has faced criticism over personal finances despite the town’s strong fiscal standing.
