Board of Finance Taking on Budget

The 2013-14 budget will be a topic of discussion when the Board of Finance meets tonight, April 18.

The special meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. at Orange Town Hall.

Under First Selectman Jim Zeoli's proposal, the town's budget would increase 3.6 percent to $61.4 million, but the tax rate would remain at 31.2 mills. Individual property taxes could go up or down depending on a property owner's new assessment.
