BREAKING NEWS: Two burglary suspects arrested today
All the police activity in the center of town came to a successful conclusion.

Police responded to a burglar alarm on Old Tavern Road near Orange Center Road Sunday at 2:48 p.m.
During the investigation, officers found a door had been forced open and an alarm sounded.
A witness reported that two youths fled from the residence.

Officers searched area and a CT State Police K9 assisted.
Officer Harold Burke located two youths matching the description on Lambert Road and the K9 also tracked to the same area.

Further investigation developed probable cause to arrest the pair. One was a youth (17) and one a juvenile (14) so names will not be available.
They were charged with conspiracy to commit burglary, third-degree burglary and criminal mischief. They are being released to parents pending an appearance in court.
