Craft Beer Brewery Proposed by Orange Native

Orange native Tim Wilson is scouting for a location in New Haven to build a craft beer brewery, reports the New Haven Register.

He has looked at locations in the downtown area, Fair Haven, Westville and Long Wharf, but appears to be zeroing in on former Rockbestos Co. building on Nicoll Street in the East Rock neighborhood.

Nothing is set, but if things progress, the new business would use close to 30,000 square feet of space. In addition to the brewing operation, the facility also would house a 100-seat tasting area.
