Duck Donuts Reveals Opening Date For Orange Shop
The popular donut franchise's first location in the state will open soon.
ORANGE, CT — Popular franchise Duck Donuts is coming to Orange and now has an opening date of April 5, according to the shop's Facebook page.
The store will open at 350 Boston Post Road in a plaza that includes Wasabi Sushi, the Smoothie King, and Retro Games Plus.
Duck Donuts' origins are in North Carolina's Outer Banks. The first shop opened in 2007, and now Duck Donuts has more than 100 locations around the country. Currently the nearest location to Connecticut is in White Plains, NY.

The shop specializes in fresh, hot donuts with a dizzying array of made-to-order toppings. This includes flavors like "Bacon in the Sun," "Beach Ball," "Blueberry Lemonade," and "Blueberry Pancake."
The store's hours will be 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.
