Ethnic Superstore Opens In Orange: Report
This business may be the first of its kind in Connecticut.

ORANGE, CT — Farmer’s India Market, a 25,000-square-foot ethnic superstore opened this week at 100 Boston Post Road and it may be the first of its kind in Connecticut, the New Haven Register reports. The building used to house a Staples.
The store has a wide array of rice, pita, kabob, and any type of product from Indian, South America, East and West Africa, and the Far East, the Register reports. It also offers a Halal meat department too.
The owner, Yousuf Bokhary, who is a Boston resident but bought a home in Orange too, told the Register that he specifically picked Orange so he can be in between the New Haven and Bridgeport markets.
