Jimmy Dillon, everyone’s favorite barber at Foundations Hair Salon & Barber Shop, located on 17 Old Tavern Road in Orange, needs surgery on his thumb. He was riding a friends jet ski and hit a wave pretty hard. This caused his thumb to be pulled backwards and a lot of pain. He went for an MRI and the ligament is not connected and was ripped completely off his thumb to the point that it flipped backward and is rolled into a ball near the base of his thumb. It’s called a sterner lesion. Jimmy has to have surgery on Wednesday July 24 and has no health insurance. Anyone who knows him knows he is the primary monetary support for his family. He is currently fostering his 3 year old granddaughter as well as trying to keep his business and house running. He would never ask for help from anyone so we are hoping to come together for him and his wife, Jennefer. Surgery and rehabilitation is going to be costly as well as not being able to work for at least a month. Anything anyone can contribute to help defray the costs they are incurring will be GREATLY appreciated.
