Major Retailer's Former Home Gets New Tenant In Orange
A long-term lease has been signed for a prominent spot on Boston Post Road in Orange.
ORANGE, CT — An emergency veterinary care facility will open at a prominent spot in Orange.
VEG for Pets will open at 507 Boston Post Road, according to a statement from Pearce Real Estate. The site is the former home of Metro Mattress.
The veterinary office will be in a free-standing, 5,250-square-foot building.

VEG for Pets intends supplement existing veterinary services by offering 24/7 emergency care for all types of pets “from fur to feathers, and shells to scales,” according to its website.
The Orange location will open sometime this summer. VEG for Pets has over 120 locations across the U.S. and Canada.

Carl Russell of Pearce Real Estate secured the long-term lease for the space.
Pearce Real Estate is a residential and commercial real estate company with six offices in the greater New Haven and Shoreline areas.
