Man Pushed Woman Into Target Sales Display, Orange Cops Say

Orange police say Ronald Maffucci, 52, of Chapel Street in New Haven, is accused of pushing a woman into a sales display at Targent.

Officers responded to the Target store on Dec. 18 for a reported dispute between two customers, police said.

Officers learned that the complainant in this incident had found a cell phone on the floor inside the Target store. When she asked a nearby shopper if he had dropped his phone, he grabbed at the phone and pushed the complainant into a sales display, police said. He was subsequently taken into custody and charged with second-degree breach of peace.

He was released on a promise to appear in Superior Court on Jan. 5.
