Nursing Home in Orange Fined for Lapses in Patient Care: DPH

The state Department of Public Health recently issued fines against Orange Health Care Center and five other facilities in Connecticut.

ORANGE, CT - Orange Health Care Center recently was fined a total of $2,600 by the state Department of Public Health in connection with separate lapses in patient care, reports Connecticut Health I-Team.

The Orange-based facility was one of six to be issued fines, writes reporter Kate Farrish.

In both cases involving Orange Health Care, the facility failed to note certain conditions in the patients' files that might have led to different medical decisions.

An administrator at the facility told I-Team that it has made corrections since the incidents to insure that they do not happen again.
