• Amity Chamber Candidate Forum In Orange To Feature State Senate And House Candidates (patch.com) — Residents in Orange can hear directly from state Senate and House candidates at an Oct. 15 "Conversations with Candidates" forum hosted by the Amity Chamber of Commerce at the Courtyard by Marriott on Marsh Hill Road. The non-debate program will feature structured conversations and a lightning-round Q&A using questions submitted by attendees, who are encouraged to register in advance and observe decorum rules.
   

• Aspire Acquires Former UNH Orange Campus for New Center (orangetownnews.com) — A nonprofit special education and adult day program provider has bought the former University of New Haven satellite campus on Derby Milford Road in Orange to create a major new center opening in 2027. The 47-acre site will host a school, adult programs, and Connecticut offices, with plans for innovative, accessible spaces and partnerships with local employers, volunteers, and donors.
