Obituary: Aileen Butricks (Porto Funeral Homes)

Aileen Lynk Butricks, 83, passed away peacefully with her family at her side on September 19, 2026. She was born February 27, 1943 and raised in Morris Cove, New Haven, daughter of Ewing B. and Ann Lauro Lynk. She graduated from Wilbur Coss High School and was a bookkeeper for many years at Standard Stationery and Milford Jeep. She enjoyed playing Words with Friends, following UConn Women’s Basketball and maintaining long-time friendships with her school friends. Her greatest pastime of all was spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Cabrera, her husband, Ezra, and their children: Aileen Perricone (Alan), Christopher Daniels, Danielle Kiefer (Josh) and Alexandra Cabrera (Nick). Daughter, Dawn Lamberti, her husband, Michael Sr., and their children: Michael Jr. (Amanda), Nicholas (Cortnee) and Gabrielle Valenti (Anthony). Son, Kenneth Butricks Jr., his wife, Jennifer, and their children: Tara Brierley (Matt) and Kelly Butricks (Dylan). She leaves 12 great grandchildren: Jason, Marshall, Logan, Bryce, Sophia, Avery, Cameron, Aurora, Lazaro, Owen, Giuliana and Ledger. Aileen is also survived by her cousin, Joann Fontana, sisters-in-law, Sandra Savalli and Pamela Lynk, and her son, nephew Ricky Lynk. She leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. Aileen was predeceased by her husband, Kenneth Butricks Sr.; brothers, William, John, Robert and Ricky Lynk; and great grandson, Carter Perricone.

Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte. 80), East Haven Thursday morning at 9:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pier Giorgio Frassati Parish at St. Therese Church, North Haven at 10:00. Interment will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery in Milford.
