Orange Commercial Property Sells for $1 Million
The company that purchased the building has been in business for more than 20 years.

Orange, CT - Colonial Properties, Inc. of Orange announced the sale of two properties totalling $1.86 million including a parcel in Orange.
In a separate deal Peter Hamme, former owner/chef of Stone House Restaurant in Guilford, has purchased a former restaurant building in Seymour, according to Michael Richetelli, President and Designated Broker of Colonial Properties, Inc.

273 Indian River Road in Orange, a 17,500 SF +/- office/light industrial building on 2 acres, sold for $1.013 million to Connecticut Pest Elimination, Inc. CT Pest, owned by Michael Lipsett, is a family run business that has served Connecticut for over 20 years. Mike Richetelli, represented the Seller, 273 Indian River Road Office Park, LLC.

The purchase of the former Lake House Bar & Grill building, at 377 Roosevelt Drive in Seymour was announced by Colonial Properties. The 2,606 SF +/- building on .41 acres sold for $850,000 to CYN Realty LLC, dba Stone’s Throw Restaurant.
Stone’s Throw will be owned and operated by Peter Hamme, former owner/chef of Stone House Restaurant in Guilford.
The former popular restaurant in Guilford closed in July 2015 after Michael Rothberg, who is co-owner of Oceanco LLC purchased the land at 506 Whitfield Street for $2.75 million. Rothberg plans to use the space for marine research, which has led to concerns from residents.
