Orange Gun Show Officially Cancelled
The Stratford Gun Collectors Association withdrew its application to use the community center.
A gun show/fundraiser at the Orange High Plains Community Center in November has been cancelled.
An article in the New Haven Register said a statement from the president of the Stratford Gun Collectors Association was released that stated the application to use the community center for the event was withdrawn.
The Board of Selectman had previously approved the use of the center for the fundraiser, but due to public concerns, decided to revisit its decision at a meeting Sept. 9.
