Orange Health Care Center Fined by the State

Orange Health Care Center was fined $1,090 by the state Department of Public Health over a March incident in which a resident fell and broke a leg and ribs, reports the Connecticut Health Investigative Team.

An aide allowed the resident to be left alone on a toilet, and in a separate incident a resident, who suffered from a severe brain injury, was found on a main road in a wheelchair without any staff member nearby, the report states.
