Orange Police Blotter: 5 Most Recent Arrests (April-May 2019)

All of the information is provided by the Police Department and all charges are allegations at this time.

Orange Police Arrest Log:

Derek P. Hill, 30, West Haven is charged with sixth-degree larceny. Police say "Officers were dispatched to 259 Bull Hill Lane (ShopRite) in regards to a shoplifting. Officers investigation revealed that Derek P. Hill took $91.35 worth of merchandise without paying for it. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged."


Jennifer Cuevas, 32, Stratford is charged with second-degree failure to appear. Police say, "On 05/01/19, Officers performing a motor vehicle stop on Derby Avenue came into contact with Jennifer Cuevas. It was discovered that Jennifer Cuevas had an active arrest warrant with the Stamford Police Department for Failure to Appear 2nd degree. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged."

Albert L. Pelletier, 58, Norwalk is charged with third-degree burglary, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree criminal mischief. Police say "On 04/29/19, Albert L. Pelletier appeared at the Derby Superior Courthouse on an unrelated matter. He was held at the Derby Court for arraignment regarding an active arrest warrant out of the Town of Orange for Burglary 3rd degree, Larceny 6th degree and Criminal Mischief 2nd degree from an incident that occurred on 05/26/18. Subsequently, he was charged."


Vlora Radi, 37, West Haven, is charged with DUI. Police say, "On 04/28/19, Officers observed a motor vehicle on the Boston Post Road driving erratically. A motor vehicle stop was performed and Officers came into contact with Vlora Radi. There was an odor of an unknown alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle. Officers asked Vlora Radi to perform Standardized Sobriety Field Tests. Subsequently, she was taken into custody and charged."

Daniel Sciuto, 36, Derby, is charged with sixth-degree larceny. Police say, "On 04/30/19, Officers responded to the Derby Police Department to pick up Daniel Sciuto. Sciuto was being held on an active arrest warrant out of this town for an incident that occurred on 03/23/19 involving Larceny 6th degree. Subsequently, he was taken into custody and charged."
