Orange Police Department Loses Valued Retired Member
Maximus retired in 2014, following an eight-year career with the force.

ORANGE, CT — Retired Orange Police K9 Officer Maximus passed away Monday, Aug. 22, the department announced in a Facebook post.
Maximus was handled by Orange Police Det. Mike Kosh. According to a 2014 New Haven Register article, Maximus retired that year after eight years of service.
"Please keep Detective Mike Kosh, Max's handler, and the entire Kosh family in your thoughts on this very difficult day," the department wrote in the Facebook statement.
