Orange Police: Woman Spits on Wendy's Employees, Fights Cops

Police say the New Haven woman locked herself in the Wendy's bathroom and when she came out allegedly started fighting them.

Orange police officers say they responded to the Wendy’s restaurant at 15 Boston Post Road regarding a disturbance.

Officers learned that Clarissa Bartimole, 19, of Young Street in New Haven, had entered the restaurant and allegedly caused a scene, demanding to speak to a specific restaurant employee, and spitting at the other employees, police said.

She then locked herself in the restroom and would not come out. Officers convinced her to exit the restroom, but then she became belligerent toward officers and attempted to fight them, striking one of the responding officers multiple times, police said.
