Police: Bag Containing Drugs Left at Orange U-Haul

Police say the bag was traced back to a West Haven man and he was arrested.

A West Haven man was arrested on drug charges after police traced a backpack left at the U-Haul in Orange back to him.

"Officers received a narcotics complaint from employees at the U-Haul rental location on the Boston Post Road after they had discovered a book bag left behind in the store by a customer contained drugs," the report states. "Officers found a small quantity of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and identification belonging to the arrestee. Officers contacted the arrestee, who admitted that all the items were his."

The man, identified as Alex Angeloff, 22, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia, at 4:30 p.m. on July 19.

Angeloff was released on a promise to appear in court on Aug. 2.
