Local officials celebrated the sale and what may come in the future.

ORANGE, CT — The Firelite Shopping Center located at the corner of Racebrook and Old Taverns roads has been sold for $3.8 million and First Selectman James Zeoli told the New Haven Register that he's excited to see the property redeveloped.
The complex, which is a prime commercial space in town, is largely vacant and needs significant upgrades, the Register reports. No new redevelopment plans have been filed as of yet with the town, but officials are confident that will happen in time. To sign up for Orange breaking news alerts and more, click here.
