Road Job Dispute Leads To 2 Arrests: Orange Police
Police said multiple people were involved in the dispute.

ORANGE, CT — A road job dispute between two men led to charges for both, Orange Police said. On Oct. 1, Officers responded to a dispute at 400 Boston Post Road involving a road job.
Officers’ investigation revealed that the there were multiple parties involved, police said. One dispute involving Vernon Knight turned physical, police said. Subsequently, Knight and Andrew Cooper were taken into custody and charged, police said.
Knight is charged with second-degree breach of peace and third-degree assault, while Cooper is charged with second-degree threatening and second-degree breach of peace. They each posted $500 bond. To sign up for Orange breaking news alerts and more, click here.
