Shelton Woman Accused of Stealing Elderly Orange Woman's Credit Card
Orange police said the woman acted as the elderly woman's home health aide and she made more than $5,000 in unauthorized purchases.

Orange police say Lynn Skerlick, 57, of Barry Road in Shelton, is accused of stealing a credit card of an ill elderly woman whom she was entrusted to care for, and racking up $5,573 in unauthorized purchases, police said in a release.
Skerlick surrendered herself at police headquarters after learning of a warrant for her arrest, police said.
The warrant service was the culmination of an investigation that began in September, when police received a complaint that the credit card of a town resident had been compromised, police said.
