State Police Search for Two Men Accused of Stabbing

State Police are attempting to locate two men on the lam who are accused of a stabbing.

A man was stabbed in Danielson on Dec. 22 near the intersection of Route 6 and Maple Street, according to police.

State Police were granted warrants for Joshua Whittington, 21, and Michael Papineau, 27, both of 40 Palmer St. in Danielson.

The two may be attempting to flee to Cape Cod or Ohio, possibly by bus. They are wanted on charges of first-degree assault and first-degree reckless endangerment.

They are believed to be armed and dangerous. Police ask anyone with information about their whereabouts to call Troop D at 860-779-4900.
