US News Ranking: Amity High School Ranked Among Nation's Top 1000

US News released its high school rankings Tuesday, which includes 21,000 public schools nationwide.

U.S. News & World Report in a just released report concludes that 25 Connecticut Public High Schools are among the nation’s top 1,000.

To view that list click here. Amity Region 5 High School ranked No. 20 for best public high schools in Connecticut and 811 best nationwide, according to the report.

Amity High School has a 97 percent graduation rate, a student-teacher ratio of 13:1 and a college readiness score of 47.7. A college readiness score pertains to students performance on standardized tests, and to view an in-depth report on how Amity High School students did click here.
