2 Beacon Falls Residents Win CT Lottery Prizes
The winning tickets were sold in West Hartford and Naugatuck, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
BEACON FALLS, CT — Two Beacon Falls residents recently won separate Connecticut Lottery prizes of $10,000 and $20,000, according to the Connecticut Lottery.
Michael Rau won $10,000 playing a "10X Cash 15th Edition" scratch-off game. Rau claimed the winning ticket on Wednesday, which was purchased at Metro Food Mart on New Haven Road in Naugatuck.
Alexi Baluha won $20,000 playing a "Bingo Doubler" scratch-off game. Baluha claimed the winning ticket on Friday, which was purchased at Kane Street Mobil in West Hartford.

A 10X Cash game ticket costs $10, and there were 168 $10,000 grand prizes left as of Monday, according to the lottery. Its overall odds of winning are 1 in 3.95.
As for the Bingo Doubler game, a ticket costs $2, and there were two $20,000 grand prizes left as of Monday. The overall odds of winning in this game are 1 in 3.84
