• Oxford Names New Animal Control Officer (patch.com) — Oxford residents have a new full-time animal control officer, as Danielle Kish stepped into the role on May 26 and is now handling all animal control calls in town. She succeeds longtime officer Adrienne Croce, who left the position in early April after thanking the community and police department for their support. The change ensures continued coverage for animal-related issues across Oxford.
• Baseball Recap: Coventry Picks Up 22nd Consecutive Win (maxpreps.com) — Coventry’s baseball team shut out Oxford 8–0 on Tuesday, handing the Wolverines a tough postseason loss and dropping Oxford’s record to 12–11. Coventry’s dominant pitching and timely hitting powered their 22nd straight win, while Oxford’s season momentum stalled. No future games are currently scheduled for either team.
