• Oxford Schools Approve $177K For Air-Quality, HVAC Reviews (patch.com) — Oxford parents and residents may want to know that the school district has approved nearly $178,000 for detailed indoor air-quality testing and HVAC evaluations across its buildings, including a focused assessment at Oxford High School. Great Oak Elementary will also get new carbon-dioxide sensors to help staff track classroom ventilation and ensure students are getting enough fresh air.
• Connecticut high school girls soccer top performances, games to watch (Sept. 22) (ctpost.com) — Oxford girls soccer standout Addie Wheeler scored twice to lift the Wolverines to a 3–2 win over Ansonia, earning recognition among Connecticut's top performers. The roundup spotlights strong games from players across the state and flags several upcoming matchups worth following this week.
