Richard Blumenthal and Rep. Jim Himes for a federal investigation into what went wrong at the local compressor station. The lawmakers want regulators to probe the equipment failures, disclose how much gas escaped, and ensure Oxford-area residents are promptly informed and protected if anything similar happens again.
