A machine shop based in Bridgeport that makes metal parts for the aerospace, medical, semiconductor and other industries plans to build a 30,000-square-foot building in Oxford’s Fox Hollow Industrial Park where it will move its operations, according to an article in the Valley Independent Sentinel.
The company, Gen-El-Mec Associates, Inc., has bought two parcels totaling 6.2 acres in Fox Hollow and plans to begin construction in August, according to the Sentinel. The company, which employs 26 people, will be looking to add two new jobs once it moves, the Sentinel reports.
