Dollmaker Trumps the Competition with a Talking 'The Donald' Doll
The Oxford, CT, company has two versions of the Republican presidential candidate frontrunner.
A Connecticut toy maker has read the political tea leaves and come out with an action figure of the current Republican presidential candidate frontrunner.
Herobuilders, based in Oxford, has started selling a foot-tall likeness of Donald Trump, according to an article in the Connecticut Post.

The doll is available at two different price points: $39.95 for non-speaking figure and $59.95 for a talking version of The Donald. Both are clad in tuxedos and—to top it off, so to speak—are fitted with a removable toupee.
Potential customers can hear samples of Trump speaking on the Herobuilders’ website.

One comment has Trump saying, “I’m really rich.”
Other comments have the presidential candidate calling the Iraq war a disaster and issuing disparaging words about former talk-show host Rosie O’Donnell.
If a customer wants something even more special, Herobuilders will sell them a talking Donald Trump doll, in a tuxedo, with removable toupee and a little podium for $99.95.
The company also makes custom action figures, bobble-head dolls and other toys. The Herobuilders Facebook page also has a post with information on a Christmastime free toy giveaway to families who might not otherwise be able to provide gifts for their children.
Vicale said in the Connecticut Post article that Trump as a presidential candidate makes him a public figure.
However, if Trump’s lawyers call Vicale because the real-estate mogul doesn’t like the doll, it would be removed from sale, the article said.
Vicale’s company isn’t limiting itself to the Republican side of the aisle.
There also is a replica of Hillary Clinton, wearing a navy pantsuit and holding a Blackberry in her hand, according to foxct.com.
However, the doll of the Democratic presidential candidate doesn’t speak. The Oxford based company also generated publicity when it created an Ebola doll.
