"The Red Lantern: A Nun-Fiction" Staged Reading


Nine Mile Players is proud to present its first original work The Red Lantern-A Nun Fiction. The Red Lantern, written by Bill Metivier, was chosen as the winner of the first annual Nine Mile Players Playwright Contest. This hilarious comedy about four nuns who end up in a night full of raucous and unexpected fun is sure you have you laughing out loud!

A staged reading of The Red Lantern will be held at the Oxford Grange on February 25th at 7:00pm. There is a $5 suggested donation for admission. Non perishable food item donations are graciously accepted as well and will be donated to the Oxford Emergency Food Bank, sponsored by the Oxford Ambulance Association. Small gala and meeting with the cast, playwright and production team will follow the performance. 

The staged reading is directed by Jason A. Coombs and Produced by Ashleigh Smith.
