Gas Prices Rise in Connecticut

After weeks of dropping prices, gas has become slightly more expensive.

Gas prices have risen slightly in the past week, according to the price tracking website Connecticut Gas Prices. The state average is now $3.63 per gallon, compared to $3.61 a week ago.

"While I don't necessarily believe that the recent uptick in crude prices will stick, I also don't see prices falling considerably lower until after the conclusion of the summer driving season, when demand declines, and more expensive blends are phased out," said Patrick DeHaan, GasBuddy.com senior petroleum analyst, in a statement.

The national average is $3.41 per gallon.
