Memorial Day is a day of remembrance and honor for those who have served our country and lost their lives. While everyone is enjoying time with their family and friends take time to think about the real reasons for this day. Our Town will start Memorial Day with the 5th running of the 5K Freedom Run. All proceeds will go to our local Legion, which supports veterans. Following the race is the Annual Memorial Day Parade. What a great way to honor the true meaning of Memorial Day. The race starts at 8:00AM and the Parade at 11:00. Hope to see you all! You will find me at the Registration table starting at 7:00AM.
