Military Heroes Honored by Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan

On Friday, September 18th, five armed service heroes were honored in a special ceremony at the Church Street main office of Naugatuck Valley Savings and Loan.

The bank is also donating a total of $3,000 to veterans support groups--$500 each in the name of the five honorees and $500 to honor the family and friends of those who have served in the United States military.

From Memorial Day through July 4th, community members nominated more than 500 living and past armed service veterans in the bank’s third annual ‘Thank You, Red, White & Blue’ program.

A committee of community leaders, local veterans and bank officials randomly chose the five 2015 honorees.

This year’s honorees are: Thomas A. Gabianelli, Scott Lavallee, Stephen Frank, Captain Eric Doe, and Daniel T. Burns. Each of these men has an incredible record of service with excellence, and more information about each of them and their service is available at www.nvsl.com/hero.
